Warranty Terms & Conditions

Please note that this Manufacturer’s (limited) Warranty section is an extract from the Atmos General Terms & Conditions.

1. Standard Warranty Period

Repaired or replaced Products shall be warranted for a period of twelve (12) months from date of delivery under the Terms & Conditions of this Warranty.

2. Warranty Activation

In order for the Warranty to be valid, it must be activated by the Purchaser (the end user of the drone product) in the Atmos system within 30 days from the arrival of the delivery at the Purchaser's address. In the event that the Warranty is not activated within the designated 30 day timeframe, the warranty will commence from the date of the first flight which will be determined by Atmos from readily available flight data.

As per our privacy policy, Atmos will gather data, including flight dates and durations, to evaluate the eligibility of the warranty.

3. Extended Warranty

The option to purchase the Extended Warranty is limited to a single purchase per Marlyn serial number. Warranty extensions are only available during the equipment's active warranty period. Please note that Atmos reserves the right to decline an Extended Warranty for any reason.

When the Purchaser acquires the Extended Warranty, they are entitled to an additional Warranty period of 12 months under the Warranty Terms & Conditions outlined here, regardless of the number of flight hours accumulated.

Please note that the Extended Warranty is applicable solely to Marlyn bundles equipped with the Sony A7RIV and Sony A6100 camera payloads. Extended Warranty with further camera payloads are granted at the discretion of Atmos, Extended Warranty prices for further payloads are subject to change from those advertised.

This Warranty solely extends to consumers who acquire the product directly from Atmos or an authorized reseller and cannot be transferred or assigned to any other party.

4. Warranty Scope

Atmos reserves the right to determine whether the hardware will be repaired, replaced with a similar product or reimbursed. Only products which Atmos deems to have incurred damage or are necessary for the continued use of the equipment are obliged to be replaced.

• Marlyn bundles: The Warranty for Marlyn bundles encompasses the drone unit along with any additional parts purchased within the same Purchase Order, such as camera payloads, PPK module, and batteries.
• Replacement drones: In the case of a drone delivered as a replacement under Warranty, the Warranty expiry date of the original drone will also be applied to the replacement. It is important to note that obtaining a replacement drone does not extend the expiry date of any Warranty.

• Cameras and PPK purchased as separate Orders: Camera payloads and PPK modules purchased as part of a separate Purchase Order will be considered add-on products and will carry their own Warranty application and duration.
• Consumables: Consumables such as batteries and propellers naturally deteriorate over time and require periodic replacement based on usage. Although Atmos provides Warranty coverage for manufacturing defects and flaws, it does not extend to the regular wear and tear of these components.

5. Shipment

‍

• Equipment purchased directly from Atmos: For equipment purchased directly from Atmos, the Warranty encompasses the replacement of necessary parts or provision of new equipment, along with the shipping cost to you. It is important to note that the Warranty does not extend to cover any import duties, local taxes, or value-added taxes.
• Equipment purchased from an authorized Atmos reseller:  When equipment is purchased from an authorized Atmos reseller, Atmos's Warranty provides coverage for essential replacement parts or new equipment. Additionally, the Warranty covers the shipping cost to the distributor from whom you purchased the equipment. It is important to note, however, that the Warranty does not extend to cover any import duties, local taxes, or value-added taxes.

The shipment cost of the damaged product which must be sent back to the manufacturer Atmos is not covered by the warranty and must be carried by the customer. If it is determined that the defect is not caused by any issues with material and/or workmanship, Atmos will not be responsible for any shipping costs, or costs associated with import duties, local taxes, or value-added taxes

6. Obligations of the user for Warranty fulfilment and Warranty loss

The warranty provided by Atmos will be forfeited if the user fails to adhere to the instructions outlined in the user manual, comply with legal requirements, or follow Atmos's instructions. Additionally, utilizing damaged equipment and/or modified equipment will also result in the loss of Warranty coverage.

Failure to perform proper maintenance on the Marlyn drone will result in the invalidation of all Warranties, which also cannot be extended.

To avail yourself of the warranty, it is necessary to inform Atmos about any defect no later than the final day of the Warranty period. Any defects reported outside of the Warranty duration period will not be covered. Atmos will assess and determine whether any defect is covered by the Warranty. As the user, you are responsible for returning the defective product to Atmos.
